Pygmy Goats

We currently are raising pygmies. We have two nanny pygmy's & one pygmy buck. We will be having pygmy kids very soon, I will update in the "Livestock Available" section.  We adopted a kiko crossed breed nanny that delivered her 2nd kid on March 20. He is Lamancha x Kiko & will be raised on our farm. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chickens

 

We have raised Chickens on our farm for the past year. Chickens are hardy birds that can be kept free range or in coops. We free range our birds to give them the best qaulity of protien. Our birds are fed once per day and lay everyday regardless of the enviroment. Chickens are very simple birds to raise and anyone can do it.  We do currently sale our fresh eggs they are $2 a dozen. We do not give our birds any antibiotics or hormones of any sort.  We also raise White leghorns, Silver laced wyndotte, Turkey, Guinea Fowl.

 

 

 

 

 

Pastured Hogs:

 

We have currently purchased our first breeding herd of pastured hogs. Pastured hogs are hogs that are not kept in confinement of any sort and graze on pasture most of the time. Our hogs are fed fresh vegtables with small amounts of hog feed.  Our hogs are not given any chemicals OR antibiotics of any sorts. Very nice stock pigs and very healthy. Excellent for bbq's or just to stock up your freezer. They are simple to raise and very low costing.
